About NMCYPAA |
|
NMCYPAA (The New Mexico Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous) is an annual conference held in the state of New Mexico. It is modeled after ICYPAA (The International Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous). Each year AA members of all ages gather together in a New Mexican city to celebrate sobriety. Attendees come from all parts of the state and beyond.
The purpose of the conference is to provide evidence that large numbers of young people are achieving a lasting and comfortable sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous.
Groups of alcoholics from cities located throughout New Mexico are encouraged to bid for the conference. At each conference the NMCYPAA Advisory Council selects a new host city from the bids. The winning city then forms a host committee. The NMCYPAA Advisory Council is made up of members from previous host committees.
